Beetles in the Chrysomelidae family are commonly known as leaf beetles. This family contains more than 35,000 species which makes it one of the biggest of all beetle families.  Sagra buqueti is one of the prettiest Chrysomelidae found in collections. They are also called Leaf Frog Beetles because of their oversized hind legs similar to frogs. They also have a beautiful overall metallic shines.
